Gotrax R2 Adult Off-road and Folding Electric Bike 20" x 3"-64KM(PAS Range) & 32KPH Max Speed

Really thrilled with how smooth and fast this bike is. I bought it to commute back and forth to work and where it would take me 15 minutes to walk now takes me literally 3 minutes.Super happy.

This bike is phenomenal; I purchased it mainly for commuting to and from work as an alternative to Ottawa's troubled transit system. The travel distance is 13 km each way and being comfortable was essential for me; and this bike definitely satisfies that. The seat is very comfortable and the front shocks and wide tires take care of minor ruts in the roads. The battery range lives up to expectations and can easily take me to and from work without needing a recharge; although I still bring the charger with me just in case I have to take a side trip. Aesthetically, the bike looks really nice, I had wanted the white version but this black one is really elegant when seen in person; and has gotten positive comments from co-workers. There is one thing that I wish GOTRAX had allowed on the bike and that is the ability to easily detach the screen and take it with me. I have wanted to stop at the grocery store on my way home sometimes but that would require locking up the bike to a bike rack. I can properly lock up the bike but the screen is still vulnerable to theft; and because of that I currently cannot take the bike anywhere that requires me to lock it up outside. But for the price I paid, it’s not a deal breaker by any means, and I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for solid dependable e bike.
