Have only owned the r2 for a few weeks but love it so far. Everything works as expected. Bike is large, great for people 6ft +. I weigh 210 lbs and my bike bag weighs 10 lbs. No problems hitting 28kph on flat ground. Just started commuting to work this week and racked up over 100km without issue. Also bought a EBE6 for wife and child to ride. Its great too. The EBE6 had some minor damage occur during shipping. Gotrax was quick to help by sending replacement part. Will update review if there are any serious issues down the line.

Fun to ride with more than enough power for climbing hills on assist or throttle control have been using mix control 48km so far and still more than 3/4 battery left

This R2 has been a blast. I ordered my wife one I like it so much. I use mine for exploring and trail rides mostly, but still will take it town if it's nice out (35mile round trip).

Bought 2 a few weeks back and couldn't be happier. They are really worth the price and very sturdy, strong bikes. I read that they could use more speed, but I totally disagree! These are electric BIKES, not motorcycles. Love it, don't regret the purchase at all
